Why attend a yoga workshop?

A yoga workshop is perfect if you want to take some time out to focus (a few hours) on the practice in a tranquil environment. It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the practice without distractions, learn more about yoga and connect with other like-minded yogis.

Feel energised and relaxed in a pressure-free and fun environment. If you want to extend your practice beyond your usual yoga class, then come along to one or both of these workshops.

I offer the following yoga events:

Feel Alive workshop (Duration: 3 hours)

The Feel Alive workshop combines essential movements, strength drills with breathing exercises, deep relaxation and meditation. It’s a holistic introduction to yoga and will leave you feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and flexible.

We’ll start off with a meditation practice (inspired by Vipassana Meditation and self enquiry) to relax, and then focus on breath control (pranayama) and finally practice body movements, yoga postures (taking inspiration from ashtanga yoga vinyasa and traditional Hatha Yoga), to ground ourselves with the earth and feel one with nature.

Beginners, seniors to advanced yogis who want to practice yoga for longer are all welcome.

A delightful break away from routine and a chance to fill up your creative, spiritual and health tank.

Stress relieve yoga

Stress Relief workshop (Duration: 1.5 hours)

Exactly what it promises to do: release any built-up stress and tension in your body using movement, music, meditation and relaxation. It’s the ultimate, deep relaxation yoga workshop. Two hours all to yourself, no demands on your time or body. No yoga experience is required, no pressure. Just yourself and the desire to release tension and stress.

As you breathe deeply and the music starts, you start to relax and all your tension flows out. You leave the mat fully energised, deeply relaxed than when you first arrived.

This workshop begins with simple body warm ups and a moving meditation inspired by Osho Kundalini meditation and ends with a hypnotic relaxation/meditation (yoga nidra).

Feel the relaxation and a sense of deeper insight for days after you roll up your mat.

Immersion Day (Duration: 1 day)

My Immersion Day workshop is like a mini retreat with heart and soul. It’s a combination of two events (Feel Alive and Stress Relief) and a bonus talk on how to adopt Ayurveda as a lifestyle.

The Immersion Day event gives a good insider look at longer retreats run over 3 to 7 days.

It lasts six hours and combines meditation, asanas, breath control, movements and yoga nidra for deep relaxation. It’s perfect for you if you don’t have the time or space to go away to secluded environments for longer than a few hours.

There’s a bonus talk on using Ayurveda to live a healthier life, and a Q & A session on yoga and Ayurveda, towards mid-program.
